Pilates mat classes are “controlled core based exercises on the mat” inspired by the original “(Joseph Pilates Contrology Method)” designed to challenge and strengthen the entire body.
Students work deeply to improve posture, core strength, balance, and flexibility. Props such as magic circles, balls and foam rollers are often used to challenge the body and to increase body awareness.
